What do I need to use xShop?

In order to use xShop, you need the following:

• A Windows XP or Windows Vista computer.
• 25 MB free hard disk space minimum on your PC.
• Microsoft .NET framework 2.x installed on your PC (this is a free package from Microsoft)
• A live internet connection.
• A working installation of osCommerce or osCMax.
• Remote database access to your osCommerce or osCMax database.

Note: It is always a good idea to confirm with your web host that they allow remote mysql access to your databases before attempting to set up xShop. It is a bummer to find out you cannot use xShop on your current host after you purchase it.
