Troubleshooting your connection:
If you have problems connecting to your database, it can be one or several of the following problems:
- You have specified an incorrect database hostname or IP address.
- Your mysql database does not allow remote access. Make sure you have enabled this on your database and confirm that your server allows remote access.
- You have specified the incorrect database name, username, or password to access the database. Double check each of these.
- You have specified the incorrect xShop license information. This will be the email address you used when you purchased xShop, and the First and Last name that you used when purchasing xShop.
